The divine egg
Those who abandon the Lord, who cut all links with him, allow the source of love within them to run dry. Then one day, faced with the successive failures of their emotional life, they ask themselves how it was they came to love all those men or women so much. At first they found them irresistible, and then over time they came to find them completely ordinary or even unbearable. Quite simply, the unique Being that inhabited a certain man or woman was no longer there for them.
It was not the man or woman they loved but the Being who looked at them through his or her eyes, and they didn’t know how to keep this Being with them. They behaved in a negligent, careless, selfish manner, and the Being who lived in this man or woman went away. So, do not seek out men and women for themselves but in order to find in them the unique Being who, through them, will visit you.
The lunar deity combined with the solar deity, the Ying and the Yang, the emptiness and fullness realize the Lord. Yin represents that which is cold, dark, wet and inert, and that yang is hot, clear, dry and on the move.
